Are you still open during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Yup, we are 100% still open. We've added the necessary precautions set by the Ontario Government to prevent the risk of the COVID-19 spreading. Although our operations are looking a bit different, we are still committed to serving Canadians in the Greater Toronto Area. We undergo regular inspections by the Ontario Ministry of Argiculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) to ensure that we are following all the correct precautions.
Are chickens hormone-free?
Yup, all our chickens are from Ontario local farms (I.E Riverview Poultry) and our chickens are hormone-free!
Are you a new business?
Nope, Lang Hing Wholesale Meat has been in business for over 20 years now (started in 1997). We typically sell our wholesale chicken to other businesses in the Greater Toronto Area region. We've recently made the pivot to offer buy online pick up in-store services to our consumers, so that we can all benefit!
Your prices are great but how can you offer such cheap chicken?
Traditionally, we are a wholesaler and we get our grass-fed chickens directly from the farms in Ontario. As a chicken wholesaler, we are able to get bulk pricing on our chickens and because we require consumers to buy online first, we can easily determine the exact number of employees we need at the storefront any given time.
Where does the chicken come from?
All are chickens are raised in local Ontario farms. They are always fresh (we get new shipments every few days), and we work with local farmers to ensure quality for the chickens are met. None of the chickens are imported from other countries, they are 100% Canadian.
Is there a minimum order?
Currently, we only offer buy online, pick up in-store. There is no minimum order. Usually, our products come by the 10-11 lbs.
Do you do delivery?
At the moment, we're still figuring out this online chicken wholesale business since we usually sell to businesses. We currently do not offer delivery. We're actively working out the details to delivery and that will be coming soon! Be on the lookout for that. Exciting things are coming.
Why can't I just go to a supermarket for my chicken?
Supermarkets also get their chickens from chicken wholesalers like us. Essentially, you're getting the same product as you would get from a supermarket but at a fraction of the cost, you can buy and pay online, and we offer efficient store pickup so that you can skip waiting in any long lines.
I'm a restaurant, supermarket or someone that wants to buy in bulk, do you offer bulk pricing?

What time can I come for pickup?
When you're making the order, we also make you pick a timeslot for pickup, just so that we have a general heads up. We are usually opened from 9:00AM - 1:00PM Monday to Sunday for pickup. You'll be able to pick up your timeslot for approximately when you want to pick up.
